Speech of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark at the inauguration of Al-Folk project
His Holiness expressed his admiration for the idea of ​the project, describing it as a creative idea that enriches the nation and promotes its service, love and role in the lives of every human being.
He also saluted the owner of the idea, His Eminence Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies, and how he provides a service to these young people with all his talents.
His Holiness mentioned that the Church is a spiritual institution concerned with the salvation of man, and this is its primary role, but it has a societal role, which is to serve every human being as an expression of love.
His Holiness added, “I salute the beneficiaries of the idea: Our children with Down syndrome and their families.” together with the beneficiaries from Hessat Akwah village, which is directly or indirectly affiliated with it.
