Signing of a cooperation protocol between Al folk Foundation and the University of Tanta to support Al-Folk project

(Sunday, March 21, 2021), his Eminence Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Folk charitable Foundation that is responsible for managing Al-Folk project, signed a cooperation protocol with professor Mohamed Ahmed Zaki, President of the University of Tanta. The protocol involves a scope of the cooperation between the Archdiocese of Tanta and its dependencies and the University of Tanta since both of them share several axes, highlighted in:
Participation between the two Parties in providing advice, development and technical support in the technical and musical fields, sports activities and medical care for the heroes of Down syndrome who benefit from Al-Folk project.

Participation between the two parties in supervising training courses for families of heroes with Down syndrome, and the possibility of accrediting these courses from the university.
The university also participates with the Archdiocese in training cadres specialized in providing all services to the beneficiaries of Al-Folk project.
According to the protocol, Tanta University participates with the Archdiocese in developing and updating all services provided by Al-Folk project to the beneficiaries of its services. In addition, the two Parties support the project’s scientific research system. The protocol also includes cooperation in training students of Tanta University and researchers specialized in the field of Al-Folk project, by providing an opportunity for field research, especially for postgraduate students. The protocol also includes the formation of a committee from the two Parties to develop mechanisms for activating the protocol.

His Eminence Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Folk Charitable Foundation, praised the effective role of Tanta University, headed by Professor Mahmoud Ahmed Zaki, in supporting an important category of people and welcoming the signing and activation of the cooperation protocol, and contributing to the support of an important group of Egyptian society who have special mental capabilities, specifically the heroes of Down syndrome who are being targeted by Al-Folk project.
