Activity name: Pouring water with a funnel

Tools:

Waterproof tablecloth

A tray on which tools are placed.

Funnel.

Sponge.

Small cup.

Small bottle.

Target:

1 – Self-care. 2 – Usage of a funnel. 3- visual-motor synergy.

4 – control of hand muscles; (minor and major). 5- Attention, control, focus and accuracy.

Understand the concept of narrow and broad.

Age: 4 years and more.

Steps:

1-Lay the tablecloth on the table.

2-Place the tools on the tablecloth.

 3- Say the name of the activity to the child.

4- Put the funnel on the nozzle of the bottle.

 5- Pour the water from the cup into the funnel while supporting the cup with the other hand from the bottom.

6- Dry the water with a sponge and dry the funnel and the tablecloth if there is water on it.

7-Say: I’m done.

8- Return the tray to the rack.

Self-correcting method:

1 . Pour the water with the funnel correctly.

2. No water coming out of the funnel.

3. Doing the activity in a correct manner.
