Complications that they may be exposed to during their different ages include one or more of the following:
1 – Problems with the heart, intestines, eyes and hearing
2- Recurrent ear infections
3 – Sleep apnea
4 – Hypothyroidism deficiency
5 – Instability of the neck joints
6-weak immunity
7 – acute leukemia,.
8 – more prone to obesity.
The family must overcome the traumatic stage in order to be able to make appropriate decisions for their child. She is interested in following up with a pediatrician periodically to follow up on the child’s nutrition and growth, and to conduct periodic examinations such as thyroid hormone examination. It is also important to follow up with a cardiologist if there is a congenital heart problem, while taking care of an early intervention program to develop the child’s skills with one of the specialized centers.
