Lubna Mostafa

Lubna Mustafa was born in 1993 with Down Syndrome and started her sports career in 2000. she loved and mastered swimming and achieved many championships and successes. She was also awarded the title of golden fish and a legend of people with special needs.
Lubna participated in the Egyptian Cup tournaments, and won two gold medals, and her championships continued; she won the National Championship in 2005. Lubna participated in the Arab Championship and won three gold, silver and bronze medals. She continued training until she was crowned the world champion 4 times and the champion of the Republic and the Egyptian Cup until today. Lubna is the only one with Down syndrome who represented Egypt and the Arabs in 3 consecutive world championships from 2016 to 2019.
Moreover, Lubna won the Arab Championship 6 times, and also won 184 medals, including 19 international ones. Lubna loves drawing, coloring and handicrafts. She also joined a ballet Institute and participated in many parties. Later, a short film was produced about Lubna’s amazing achievements.
