Heba Asaad, 24 years old, a student at the Faculty of Mass Communication, a broadcaster at Voice of the Arabs Radio, a theater actress, and the first flight attendant with Down syndrome.
Heba was chosen to be “the first flight attendant with Down syndrome in Egypt”, she traveled on board as an official flight attendant under the supervision of the United Nations on a trip entitled “The Journey of Humanity”. The trip between Cairo and Khartoum was back and forth, and Heba received great admiration from the community, media and travelers which encouraged her to continue.
In addition to working as a flight attendant, Heba states that she has always dreamed of working as a TV presenter, especially since media is her field of study. She had several trainings in the field of radio at the Egyptian Radio and Television Union, and presented a number of events affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture over the past years, winning great admiration from the audience for her confidence and ability to perform her role perfectly.
Among the most prominent of what Heba did was presenting the event “Qaderoon bekhtelaf” in front of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, where her words won the appreciation and admiration of the attendees. She also created a show on YouTube, in which she discusses social issues in a simple way.
