Speech by Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Egyptians affairs Abroad
The ambassador praised the presence of His Holiness the Pope and of Dr. Shawki Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, as a strong message for strong and cohesive people.
She praised the church’s national role in supporting projects that serve all categories of the state without discrimination and promote consolidate the concept of belonging and citizenship.
She praised the efforts of Dr. Tariq Rahmi, Governor of Al-Gharbia, in being a part of appearance of Al-Folk project in this picture and his interest in all the details related to the project.
She also mentioned the efforts of His Eminence Bishop Paula for his attention to the smallest details and his quest to build a world-class project on Egypt land to serve a category that has been neglected for a long time.
She also also spoke about a new era through which Egypt is going during this period of the new republic, and one of its images was clear in Al-Folk project with the presence of citizenship in the form of the prayer room and the church.
She emphasized that Egypt is blessed by God and its people are religious who fear nothing.
Finally, she congratulated Bishop Paula for the role he played and all the attendees and officials in charge of this project.
