Speech of His Eminence Dr. Shawky Allam, the Egyptian Grand Mufti,
He expressed that he was pleased and proud to be a participant in the opening of this great event; opening of Al-Folk project for the care and rehabilitation of Down syndrome heroes.
He added that all the elements of homeland and its children, no matter how different their conditions, must enjoy the utmost degree of care and attention, this attention that enhances their love and belonging to this country.
He also stressed that Al-Folk project comes to emphasize the high patriotic spirit that prevails in our country to serve it and provide all kinds of care for all its categories without discrimination.
Then he mentioned that the symbolism of the ark was chosen for this project as a name, form and content, and that it is a divine religious symbolism for the ark of salvation. He added that there are spoilers whose corrupt ideas may lead to the sinking of the ship; however, by the force of law and thanks to the solidarity and cooperation of its sons on righteousness and goodness, homeland lives, strengthens, rises, continues and becomes safe.
This patriotic spirit is not new to the Egyptian Church, as its history is full of many honorable and courageous patriotic situations that confirm that we all stand united and firm as loyal soldiers in the service of our dear homeland, Egypt.
