Al-Folk project provides the highest educational quality for its beneficiaries with special needs. The project contains sensory and motor development laboratories. Moreover, the provided educational services are based on a study conducted on advanced similar projects in Italy and Switzerland. The project also includes a library to develop the reading abilities of those with special needs. The project operates through an integrated team that includes experts in various fields of specialization who have already been trained in similar global projects.

Good health and well-being

Al-Folk project provides free medical services to all its residents and frequents of people with special needs through private clinics equipped with the most modern medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the project contains a gym equipped with the latest workout equipment for exercising and practicing physical activities under the supervision of specialists. In addition, Al-Folk project includes a dining table on which healthy meals are served to the project beneficiaries, under the supervision of specialized nutritionists.

No poverty

A large number of people with special needs belong to poor families, and recently, the rehabilitation of people with special needs has become too expensive for these poor families to afford. Al-Folk project provides an adequate standard of living for these categories through its free services. Al-Folk project provides 100% free rehabilitation, treatment and development of sensory, motor, mental, educational abilities to all its beneficiaries. Moreover, those over the age of 18 get free full accommodation inside the project. Thus, a decent and equitable life is guaranteed to this category.

Reduced inequalities

People with special abilities have always suffered from rejection and unequal opportunities; and this is what Al-Folk project contributes to eliminate. The project aims to empower these categories through teaching them various skills and crafts, discover their talents and develop their skills. Moreover, Al-Folk project includes factories where those with special abilities learn various crafts and get employed. Thus, they would become an important productive part of the community, and accordingly will no longer feel rejected and worthless, but rather self-confident and equal to others.

Decent work and economic growth

Al-Folk project is not only established to rehabilitate people with special needs, but also to contribute to economic growth and create job opportunities. The project contains production workshops that include production lines: paper bags - paper cups - candles - clothes and embroidery, and these lines provide environmentally friendly products at cheap prices. Job opportunities are provided to the project's residents and frequents of people with special needs, as well as the residents of the village in which the project is located.

The project is in line with the political leadership vision in the State represented by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The project is also in line with the eight goals of the vision for the long-term sustainable development of the country «Egypt 2030», specifically the following goals: First Goal: the quality of life: improving the quality of life of the Egyptian citizen and improving his standard of living. The project enhances the quality of life for an important category of citizens of this nation and improves the standard of living for them and for the people in project’s surrounding areas by providing job opportunities and improving the quality of services.
